We started playing the keep or delete game at the dinner table most nights with my husband daughter and grandson who’s 9. It gets us thinking!

Love both of the window designs. But the design with curtains at only the ends makes the room seem brighter. Love all the new lambs. But only keep what you are comfortable with.. Living at the farm with your family will be a great experience..

I think so too, Melinda!!! thanks!

I really love this whole idea of Keep and Delete. Using this concept at the end of your day. Being able to choose the good over the not so good that happened. I can relate, I have always been a romantic with huge heart and always seem to find small treasures in the most simplest of things, like little snap shots that stand still in time. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing new tool, that I look forward to using at the end of each day. Much love and many blessings to you, PJ and the kids!

I rather like a pair of curtains on each set of windows, makes the wall "warmer". But in the end, it's up to Alyster. Will they obstruct his view of the birds? Only he knows!

Wow! That’s a LOT OF BABIES (even if they are lambs 😂). Really love the curtains stacked with the panels in the middle also, helps add texture/layers to the room. Love our “peak and pit” moments at family dinners. Although our son is grown and living on his own so we don’t do them every day anymore, they do provide some valuable learning moments. Looking forward to your family’s “keep and delete” moments you’ll be sharing with us. 💙

Great post and I look forward to our daily keep and delete posts. I saw the comment about school and it sounds like you have three great kids in a good school. I always thought when we had meetings with our kids teachers when there was no “you can help your child with this” and everything was just “they are a blessing and a dream” that they were not getting enough focus because we all have things to work on or through.

Being single I do not always have that set dinner experience but I am going to incorporate that thought process into my dinner routine. I like the fact that it focuses on the positive for the day and lets you name the delete that you are flushing and feel it will help me put it behind me and out of the mindset.

As always, thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend.

We had honey garlic chicken tonight, too! Kiddo’s favorite part was the rice. Can’t win them all. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Conferences can be so hard on the teachers too. We want to support parents and kids and we want to have the best news ever. But it can be hard to give that bad news when we also see the best in our students, even the ones who give us a big challenge.

I have a question, though. How does your school support your family? I live in a very small area and I’m new to this school, so I don’t really know what we do. I am always trying to learn and adapt, even introduce new family structures to my students. I’m not scared of pushback! But if there’s one thing your school does well for you family - what would it be? I would love the input!

that's hilarious! it's always the easy, simple parts of a meal that kids like the most.

as for how our school supports our family, honestly? by treating us no different than any other family. they're sweet, accommodating, and they work with us. we had to miss a lot of school last school year for work travel, and they didn't give us any kind of exceptions for missing school, which I know sounds like the opposite of what I'm trying to say, but basically, rules are rules and we ALL have to follow them. we love our community there!

Your house is looking fantastic! I love your color choices, as well. It’s hard to tell on my little phone, but I am assuming that’s a baby lamb with its mother in the photo?

Used to do honey garlic chicken, Axios would always double or triple the garlic. Yes very overwhelming but you get used to it. Enjoy the weekend. Big hugs❤️
