Thats amazing. Im like you and enjoy trips and experiences over things. Unless it’s something I need like a new vacuum haha. My fav place I was for my birthday was Windsor castle in the UK when I turned 20. Im glad your birthday is going amazingly!

Sounds like an enjoyable birthday weekend, Thomas! It's been one of your principles for a while now to focus on experiences vs things. Now that my hip replacement surgery has moved into the recovery and rehabilitation phase, I'm looking forward to going somewhere/ANYWHERE and making up for lost time. Time, a commodity you can't get back and appreciate even more as each birthday clicks off the calendar. Thanks for sharing a bit of your celebration with the Substackers, who all love you and yours very much!

Happy Belated Birthday, Thomas. How nice that you could spend it with your love and kids at a place that you all enjoy. Sounds like PJ’s internet saga is drawing closer to a happy ending. So nice to see things are going as you planned and so well deserve. 🤗🤗❤️

We had spring break this week so we took a trip to St. Louis for a few days. We took the kids to the illumination thing at the zoo. They had so much fun, Rhys hasn’t stopped talking about it. We also stopped by the magic playhouse and took the kids to the arch and the illusion museum! Rhys got a kick out of all of the cool things to do there.

Today, I went with my best friend to a craft/vendor fair about 2.5 hours away. We left our babies (hers is 18 months) with her mom and took the day together. It was strange to not have the kids, but it was very much needed. I am EXHAUSTED but it was so worth it. 💙

Happy birthday - I hope that it is amazing and you have the best time 💙💙

I hope you had a great birthday, Thomas. Your food board looks so yummy. I wish Blink was available in book form. It sounds wonderful.

When you return to the beach in May, it will be MUCH warmer. Down here in Venice, we are supposed to have some days in the 90s.
