The new coop looks like it turned out to be quite something - not to mention the joy that swing will bring to the kids, eh? Looking forward to seeing it painted.
You both looked so happy enjoying the massage. It should be a monthly treat for you both, together. You deserve the "us" time for sure.
As to the redecorating, I love popping the energy in a room with a little bit of red. I just add a red pillow, or a red patterned blanket or throw. And let’s not forget a dog with a red collar.
I find that planning the thing is mostly the biggest hurdle, so I would just make a follow up appointment for the massage right when you pay for the last one.
I think I never had a massage, let alone a couple massage… I do visit the chiropractor to work out soms sore spots.
And I have a accupressure mat (is the right english term I think, literal translation is nail mat). Sounds strange but it is very relaxing to lie on it for a while. If my back is tense I use it for 15 minutes and the tension fades away. I did cold showers for a while too. Terrible during, wonderful afterwards. Can not find the courage anymore though.
I love the colour on the wall! We did a white house in our last house (lack of inspiration) but as we moved houses, my sister who is interior designer, advised us on paintcolours. Not a white wall in sight and I love it. We do have light colours, I guess a scandinavian style? Fits in with al the IKEA furniture.
Anyway, my weekend will be working in the garden as it is very sunny, making curtains for my daughter and spending time with family and in church.
that is what I tried to do (book the massage right away) but PJ was like mmm let's wait and think about it haha. does that mat hurt? it sounds nice.
also, I would love to do a cold shower but I can't find the courage to do it, either. I HATE cold water. maybe one day, though.
lastly, we have a White House with Holiday House which is why we want all colorful rooms at home. I am so excited. your weekend sounds lovely. enjoy! xoxo

We do enjoy and spend time together, but also a lot of time apart.
What a great recap of your week. I envy you having such a large and loving family. You all love to be together, play games and just have fun. That is what a family should be ....caring for each other and being present when you are needed. I love the red color for the chicken coup. The two colors you had in mind for your living room will be great in a craftsman style home. I am pulling for the color on the right side of the room, but either will be good. I got one in Hawaii from a Sixth-generation practitioner and it was an incredible massage (long sweeping strokes) but also spiritual too. One of those experiences I will never forget.
