Happy Tuesday! How was your weekend? We just got back from a few days in Kentucky visiting a few places we’d never been before. The state’s tourism board brought us out we all had so much fun, and since it’s only about five hours away, we took a little family roadtrip to get there, which has been the first roadtrip we’ve taken that hasn’t been to Florida in forever.
Kentucky in the fall is a lot like Tennessee in the fall: Absolutely stunning. The leaves were turning orange as we drove from town to town to explore caves, animal parks, and new-to-us restaurants. We’ll be putting together a travel guide of all the places we visited and things we did soon!
Now that we’re home, we’re excited to decorate for Halloween and settle in for a bit. We don’t have any future travel plans, which means we can cozy up at home and enjoy our favorite time of the year. Seriously, I can’t think of anything more I would rather do than stay home with the family and bake and watch Halloween movies, and maybe take a few day trips to an apple orchard or corn maze.
