It sounds so exciting but I just can’t in-vision you moving! Your home now has been my type of dream home for years! And I am on the outside looking in with no memories so I can’t imagine what you are all feeling. (For some reason “Should I stay or should I go now” just popped in my brain and now I have that jingle rolling around haha)
Hugs to PJ and Riah, sending healthy and positive vibes that this bug passes quickly. Everyone needs to be healthy for PJ’s soon to be 40th! 💜
My keep today is our mutual friend Colleen💜 Through a couple of comments on one of your posts a couple weeks ago, we bonded over book reads, and now message each other title swaps and it has been so fun! As I type this I am anxiously waiting for her to tell me what order I should read this next author she told me about! 😂
Thanks for this platform, sharing your lives, and now sharing your friends with me!
haha!! I love that song! thank you for the well wishes. and OMG Sandra I love that you and Colleen are friends now!!! that is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. ugh. love you both!!
Did someone say that house has a POOL????????????????? Getting to share all these life journeys with your family is just about the coolest thing ever. I am so sorry the PJ and Riah are sick... sending them all kinds of healing wishes and love and vibes. I'm excited about the new house, but being a total sentimentalist, I understand how hard it will be to go, of you do. I know you will ultimately do the best thing for the family, but those kinds of decisions can be killer. I'll be thinking about you during this process...Love ya.
thank you SO much Bruce!! I am glad you know what it's like being this sentimental. PJ and I were just talking last night and we were saying that other people probably don't have this problem because they're not as sentimental as we are. they're probably like, oh, we see a house, we like it, we move. for us, it's much harder because we hold on to memories SO strongly for some reason. we always have. thanks for the feedback!!
I never get tired of hearing you talk about houses, Thomas. 😊 Sending healing thoughts and hoping that PJ & Riah will be feeling better soon. Perhaps it’s better they got sick while you are still enjoying the comforts of home rather than at the beach? Sending a warm hug from the PNW! 💕
okay good! because as I was typing it, I was thinking to myself, "they are probably so over me" lol. and yes, you are SO right about them being sick here. in fact, PJ said those exact same words last night!!!
so sorry for the sickness! and that Colleen and I sent you our infamous Seattle Rain! (we would kindly like the rain back please!) praying that yall get better soon! Exciting about the house updates! (i cant fathom leaving my childhood home either! it has a extra wide four car driveway so no-one has to park in the street, which is unique) but its ultimately up to the parents when to move haha. my keep is that Im finishing my first week of working at the aquarium and have literally gotten paid to go tide-pooling, listen to diver talks and walk around the exhibits! I even fed a sea urchin seaweed! My only delete is that because light link(our public transit) is popular, the commute home is super packed.
Alex, I would love to come visit! I was already planning to bring my son to the aquarium once school is out. Are you working at the Ocean Pavilion/Pier 58 all summer?
I have a keep. Before I do that i want to join everyone in sending healing vibes to your boys. Also, I can see you moving to a bigger house especially as it's historic. Just don't sell your childhood home. Find someone you trust to rent it from you. So I redecorated my front porch. It looks how I imagined it would, so I'm keeping it. My delete is that KY voted Massie out of office. They put in the guy Trump wanted. Trump's people spent 30 million to get rid of Massie.
thank you soooo much! and yes, we definitely wouldn't sell it. we thought about renting it, or seeing if my mom would be interested in moving in? and UGH that Delete is definitely warranted. :( that is horrible news
I always love the enthusiasm you both have when looking at new homes. It's understandable that you take advantage of every opportunity to find something you feel is more suitable for your maturing family.💑 On a more nostalgic note, though, whenever I see your current home shared online, the comfort and coziness it evokes would certainly be missed. Still, I can also imagine you creating something lovely wherever you choose to do! Please convey my best to PJ and Riah with hopes of a quick recovery. 🤞😊
Keep: We arrived home after more than 24 hours of travel time overall!🤦🏼♂️ In spite of concerns for my injured leg, things turned out okay in the long run.👌(As an aside, I remember PJ mentioning how longer flight times made him second-guess traveling to Australia. I had the same reservations, but to be honest, after this trip, both Australia and Japan do seem more plausable. While I must admit that I personally am getting a "tad" too old for such jaunts, please tell PJ, that in spite of the reservations of his upcoming 40s😉, to seize the opportunity!)
Delete: While it's easy to get back into home's comforts, I do need to get back into home reorganization. 😟
Have a good Friday and weekend. Stay well, happy, and safe throughout...🤗💞🌈🦄🗽

Hi both, I'm so sorry that PJ and Riah are sick, I hope they feel much better soon! I hope I'm on the mend now - had my bursitis injection yesterday.
As for the potential house - so excited for you. I think when you see it empty you can imagine your lives there.
My eldest and her family are coming to look after me and cheer me up tomorrow so definitely looking forward to that! Love and hugs xx
thank you my love!! enjoy your family time!

So much fun touring houses. Sometimes I like to look at open houses even when we’re not buying.
Hope the boys feel better soon and up to a beach vacation. It’s rainy down here, but there’s definitely some time daily for the beach! 💙
I agree! and thank you!
