Thomas's New Workout Routine
Plus, before and after photos of where I'm at physically and a fun question for the group
Hey friends,
Happy Tuesday! How was your weekend? It feels like the days are flying by and it’s hard to believe Christmas is only two weeks away. We haven’t done any of our shopping yet but are hoping it get it all completed by early next week. We’ll see if that actually happens, though.
We wanted to start today by thanking you for all of the positive feedback on last week’s issue. It was our first video Q&A on Substack and felt like a breath of fresh air (and even kind of sexy) to answer your spicy questions on camera. We loved reading your responses and thoughtful comments, and because of all of your support, you ended up making it our biggest post of all time!
Check it out below:
It’s been decided, since there were so many questions we couldn’t answer in just one video, that we’ll be doing a part two in the near future. We started a new chat thread on Substack that you can leave your questions in and we’ll answer them in our next video Q&A right here on Okay McKay.
You can join our chat below and ask us anything!
In other news, I can’t believe it’s already been over a year since we’ve done a fitness update/shared our workout routines. We’ve been extremely dedicated to the gym this year and have pretty consistently gone at least 5 days a week throughout the year, with the exception of our trips to the beach in the summer.
You already know I have a love/hate relationship with working out, but I must say, every time we skip a day, I feel off. It’s become such a normal part of our daily routine that I always notice when we don’t go, physically and mentally. I guess that’s the trick to working out: Just do it consistently until it becomes part of your normal every day, and then it will feel effortless.
In today’s letter, I’m (Thomas) sharing my updated workout routine. We’re always curious about what others are doing in the gym and it’s good to get inspiration in this department since burnout is real and can happen quickly.
This is the routine I’ve been following for the last few months that has helped me get to where I am physically and has inspired me to keep working on myself, both physically and mentally, along with some photos of what I look like right now (taken today!).
Hopefully they’ll bring you a little inspiration as well.
In next week’s issue, PJ will be sharing his workout routine and where he’s at physically, too, so be sure to come back for that to see what he focuses on, because it’s quite different than mine (some would say more advanced ;).
