My nephew toured a school yesterday morning with my sister and brother-in-law, and it’s a really nice school, so he obviously wanted to look his best, which meant tucking in his shirt. The only problem is, he forgot a belt. His mom, my sister, told him to ask his dad to borrow one of his, but the only belt he brought wouldn’t work with his outfit. Just when it was decided he wouldn’t wear a belt at all, PJ disappeared into our room and came out five minutes later and came out with an old belt of ours that we don’t wear anymore, and he had cut off the tip of it that was worn and withered to make it look brand new. He gave it to our nephew and told him he could wear it to the tour and keep it afterwards. It ended up looking perfect with his outfit, like he intentionally picked it out just for what he was wearing. And that’s the man I married. He is so resourceful and thoughtful in times like that; in times when people are in need or desperate or when something needs to be done in a pinch. He’s quick on his feet. I always say, if we ever get stranded on a deserted island, I hope I end up on one with PJ because I know we’ll survive. And I know it probably seems like all I do is spend my time gushing over my husband because I write about how he does this and how he does that, but I can also promise you that at some point after the sweet belt moment, we also got frustrated with each other over something insignificant as well, haha. So is PJ perfect? Absolutely not. But he’s perfect for me, and I appreciate the little things he does for the people in our life that, when you really think about it, actually end up being the big things.

My sister and her husband and their son left yesterday morning, and I miss them already. They were only here for about 12 hours, which was way too short of a visit. We’re hoping for a big beach trip with our entire family in July, so maybe it won’t be too long before I’ll see them again.
What’s your Keep & Delete for today?

Your continued efforts to share the beauty of PJ and your ever-endearing relationship are never tiring. Such kind and caring men! 💑. And, of course, I hope you get to enjoy your family weekend in July!
Keep: A highlight from last Friday - a very special wedding for our dear friends’ daughter.
Keep 2: Your Saturday “Brewed Together with Mo and Justin” - it was wonderful! 👏
Delete: I’m dealing with the results of a fall I took when we were just settling in at my sister-in-law’s place after our flights last Wednesday. The consequences are annoying, but after a few days of doing my best to recuperate, I’m hoping to be in a better state to see many more friends over this upcoming week and weekend. 🤞
Enjoy Tuesday! 🤗💞🌈🦄🗽
Here’s to the ever-perfectly-imperfect loved ones! 🥂♥️
My keep: we found an apartment to rent! We’re signing the lease on Friday. It’s big enough for all our stuff, which are still on their way from the US to Buenos Aires. Our plans are to eventually sell an apartment we own here and but another one that fits us better, but that’s a process that will take some time, so we’re renting in the meantime.
My delete: it’s been two months and a half of what feels like a never ending moving process and we’re exhausted physically, mentally, emotionally. We really need this new space where it’ll be just us. We’re so grateful with the friends and family who opened their homes to us but we need our own.
