After months of practice (that my mom took her to every Thursday), our daughter’s dance recital was tonight and we got to see her perform! We all went as a family to watch a fun, whimsical rendition of “Pinocchio” that was beautifully done. She only had a small, two minute dance sequence (with six other girls in her group) out of the over two hour performance, but she was magical. We all sat with the biggest smiles on our faces as she danced and had the time of her life. When it was over and we asked her if she wants to do ballet again next year, she sighed and said, “No, I want to do gymnastics. And then cheerleading.” On to the next thing I suppose!

Our seventh straight day of rain has me longing for bright, sunny days. We are so over this damn rain.
KEEP: I took yesterday and today off work so we could build a deck on our backyard. Last week was raining nonstop and we have family coming in a couple weeks, so this was our only chance to make it happen. And we did! Huge job for a couple people with no experience but a lot of YT videos watched! LOL
DELETE: There’s no muscle in my body that isn’t aching right now, and tomorrow I have to wake up 5am to go to NYC for work, and a long Wednesday is waiting for me. I can’t wait for it to be Saturday!!!
