Our friends Carlos and Jerryd are getting married on our farm in a few weeks, and they asked me to officiate their wedding! How sweet is that? I have exactly zero experience with this sort of thing, the only scenario kind of like it I’ve ever done is give a best man speech at my brother’s wedding a few years back. So, to make sure I’m prepared and ready for the day, I began writing what I’m going to say and it’s been a fun exercise in 1. My writing and 2. Putting into words what makes them so wonderful as a couple. The nerves haven’t sunk in yet, I’m mostly just excited right now. But I’m sure the day of, I’ll need at least one glass of wine before I begin speaking.

No Deletes for today. How about that?
I agree with Ted. The things you’ve written here and on the blog, give evidence that you know what you’re doing when putting words together. I’m sure you will do a terrific job and say all the right things.
You have a wonderful way with words which is evidenced in many of your newsletters and other communications. You impress me regularly. I’m certain you’ll do an amazing job. Such an honor for your friends to ask you to do. I can’t wait to see a transcript or video.
PS: You’ll need to break out your formal flannel. 😆😆. Just gotta kid with you a little. All in friendship and with love. 🤗❤️
