We’re so excited to be starting a new series on the newsletter today! If you’re a paid subscriber, you will now get early access to our new vlogs that normally premiere on Sundays over on YouTube!

You’ll get to see them before anyone else, which, and I probably sound like a record here, makes this specific platform feel so extra special: being able to share something personal (or not so personal), to a much smaller number of people, feels comforting and safe. It just feels…I don’t know, intimate and exciting, you know?

Historically, a video would go up every Sunday, no matter what, for years, but especially during the pandemic, when our YouTube family felt like close friends. It was a warm, comforting place that we took solace in every Sunday when a new vlog would premiere and we would chat with everyone. We couldn’t leave the house to visit with friends, so this felt like the next best thing.

But around two years ago, we were starting to feel drained, overwhelmed, and creatively stuck. We took a break from posting every week and only posted a few times every few months, and though we wish we could’ve just pushed through, we both know it was the right thing to do at the time. We needed some time away.

Now, though, since the end of last year, we’re back, and it feels so good to start sharing our lives in this format again.
