We woke up at 4am yesterday morning in Cancun, just in time for our driver to pick us up at 5am to take us to the airport, just in time to make it through customs to make our 8am flight. However, there was a mechanical issue with our plane, so once we were boarded, we sat on the runway for over two hours waiting to take off. My butt was so sore sitting in that seat for so long, dear reader. After missing our connecting flight in Atlanta and booking a new one, our plane took off and we made it to the ATL airport, which always feels like home to us. And then, finally, finally, finally, we arrived home at around 4:30p yesterday, 12 hours after getting started. And even though we were only gone for around three days, it felt like a week, so it felt so good to be in our own home with our family, and sleeping in our own bed. There really is just no place like home, is there?

Most definitely our plane getting delayed and missing our original connecting flight. Travel issues are such a pain sometimes, aren’t they?
What’s your Keep & Delete for today?

Oh boy, the joys of airline travel. You’d think they’d have figured it out by now! lol
Happy to hear you’re safely home with the littles where you belong. 💙
