They didn’t technically call it a graduation, but that’s pretty much what it was. Last night, our oldest walked across the stage as his name was called, and we clapped and cheered and beamed with pride. He has two more days as a fifth grader before he transitions into MIDDLE SCHOOL next year. We’re still in disbelief. Also, last night he won the PE Award! And was noticed with the Legacy Award for being at his school since kindergarten! And for being on the honor roll! They kept calling his name and he kept walking across the stage and our mouths kept dropping over and over, and I could see it on his face how proud our son was. He’s growing up before our eyes and becoming such a strong young man, figuring out the world one day at a time, and I have to tell you, reader, it’s a beautiful thing to witness. We couldn’t be more proud of him.

The celebration continued afterwards, and we didn’t get home until almost 9:30p, waaaaaay off our normal schedule (which is fine!). We were all exhausted by the end of the night, barely crawling into bed before crashing.
What’s your Keep & Delete for today?

It is so wonderfully gratifying and joyful to see your children shine. I know you are proud beyond belief of all your children and remember that part of the fine young people they are and are becoming, is a result of effective, loving parenting so the "I'm so proud of you!" Goes to the entire family. Love you and yours.
Fifth grade graduation is so exciting and fun. 🥳 Congratulations to Allan for his many achievements!
Wishing you all the best for the middle school years, they’re tough. 💙
