Keep
For about an hour tonight, the kids went to PJ’s mom’s house and PJ was doing some work around the house, so I poured a glass of wine, started making dinner, and put on the new season of Chef’s Table on Netflix. Have you seen it? I’ve been a fan of the show for nearly a decade now, as it always inspires me to want to cook with the freshest ingredients and try something new. The score is absolutely breathtaking and the cinematography is gorgeous, and I especially loved tonight’s episode on Alice Waters and the farm to table movement she basically created. It’s such a comfort show for me. I love nothing more than being alone in the kitchen with a glass of wine and a pot of simmering sauce on the stove. It’s my happy place, and tonight, I got to spend about an hour in it.

My lower back is acting up again. This happens about once a quarter, and it’s absolutely no fun. If you have back problems, you understand my pain.
I don’t typically watch TV while making dinner, but my husband is out of town this week for work and the kids were busy doing their own thing, so I turned on Chef’s Table while cooking tonight (I jumped to episode 4). I loved it! Thank you for introducing this show to us. A fun keep for today!
I’m so sorry about the back pain. That is never any fun. Hopefully you are able to find some relief soon. I don’t typically have back issues, but I have a reoccurring foot injury from when I ran my first marathon years ago. My delete for today is that my old injury decided to return just a few weeks before our trek across the Alps. I went to PT today and left with a few exercises to hopefully keep the pain at bay. Fingers crossed the pain will go away by the time we leave for our trip!
Have a great week everyone! 💕
You do love to cook and experiment and try new recipes. Sounds right up your alley. Yeah back pain is really annoying. You never realize how much your back moves until it hurts every time it does. Hope you feel better really soon. Big (but gentle🙂) hug tonight. ❤️🤗
