A Visit From My Brother

Tonight, as I was getting back from picking up to go food for dinner, I came home to find my brother and SIL at our house! They were in town picking up something from Facebook Marketplace, decided to go to dinner down the road, and then stop by our house afterwards. It was such a nice little surprise, especially since they don’t come to town much. They’re only about 30 minutes away, but life has a way of making things like weekly visits difficult. We caught up for a bit, discussing my brother’s new hair dye job, and then there was a knock at the door. It was my mom! She popped in to say hi to everyone before heading back home. And as I was sitting there at the table, my husband to my left, my kids and my brother and mom to my right, I couldn’t help but feel totally and completely satisfied. It was a busy day, but in that moment, nothing else mattered but the people at the table with me.

I had a dentist appointment early this morning, and while everything looked good overall (no cavities!), they noticed a small crack in each of my back molars. It’s nothing that has to be dealt with right now, but they want to keep an eye on them for the future in case they turn into anything bad. Ugh. I hate teeth trouble.
What a Great surprise to have Family pop on like that, as far as the Dentist, you can keep that!! Haha
My Keep: I might have a new Friend, he just lives a block away with his Wife and 2 Kids, his youngest Daughter just graduated from high school. This is the third time he has came by, the first was about 2 months ago, he had noticed me struggling to mow and keep the yard up, and just wanted to help if I needed it. Last night we talked until 10 and he is going to try to fix my Roof ( it leaks pretty bad) his company helps out for Free, go figure!!! We will see, keeping my fingers crossed.
Delete: it won’t stop Raining, more Thunderstorms today and All Week.
