As we were in the middle of making homemade pizzas with a few friends at home tonight, a package was unexpectedly dropped off on our front porch. We weren’t expecting anything, so I was a little excited wondering what it could be. As soon as I saw the box, though, I knew immediately: A king cake from New Orleans! Which could only be from two people on this earth: Matt and Beau! They know how much we love king cakes, and they sent us one two years ago that I’ve been raving about ever since. They did an entire post ranking their favorites, and the one they sent us tonight ranked near the top. Reader, it’s so damn good. I may or may not have had 4 pieces in one sitting. It completely made my otherwise only-mid day pretty amazing. I think the sweetest thing you can do for someone is make them food, or in this case, send them food from 8 hours away.

Today was one of those days where we didn’t stop from the moment we woke up until just now, and I didn’t finish today’s Q&A newsletter. BUT. There were so many juicy questions that you will get to see tomorrow, so be on the lookout for it in your inbox!
That was so considerate of them. My keep today is that my knee has healed enough that I was able to get back doing my exercise walking today and the weather was lovely too. My delete was not getting some letter writing done that I wanted to. Maybe tomorrow.
🤗❤️
I had never heard of king cakes, I had to google it. Looks yummy!
My keep: here in Miami you can find lots of Argentinian restaurants, so we’ve been having that for dinner and lunch lol
Me delete: last night I started feeling unwell, a cold that I hope it goes away really fast. Today I decided to cancel on our friends, I didn’t want to be near their babies, just in case. Hopefully I’ll feel better by Friday and meet the new generation then!
Xoxo
