EVERYONE TOGETHER! Wow! So special! We got snow, so we made applesauce and bone broth and soup and tea, and we only spilled the tea (still trying to work out how they got tea on a window🤷🏻♀️)! The third HR last night- I loved it bc I love Scott and Kip! The tone was so different!
What an enjoyable break it seems you all had! A very special treat, I'd imagine. I look forward to seeing the vlog. Your family picture as you saw "Wicked: For Good" is beautiful. I'm looking forward to the film, too (and I'm so looking forward to the latest episode of "Heated Rivalry").
What an interesting surprise to hear of your new purchase. I hope you find it to be as you expected, upon your return. It sounds like some interesting upcoming projects for you. Wishing you all the best with them all, of course.
Jim, thank you!! It really was a special little break, and we’re excited to share the vlog soon. Wicked was such a treat for the kids. And we can’t wait for the next Heated Rivalry episode either. Hoping this new house is exactly what we think it is (and is a pretty quick flip!). Wishing you a good weekend too xoxoxo
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday have been cooking days for Christmas luncheons for my Men’s Shed woodworking group and Men’s Kitchen cooking group. Unfortunately we had 35° plus days so not too comfortable to feed 60 men in a tin woodwork shed and 120 men and their partners in the church hall. Dispute the furnace outside and heat inside with so many people 70 years and above, both meals fantastic.
Today it is 41° so we are blessed the heat came today and not earlier!
John, my goodness, that is some serious heat to be cooking through!!! Sixty men in a tin shed sounds like a feat in itself. I’m glad the worst of the temperatures waited until after everything was done. Hope you’re getting a chance to cool off. xoxo
Began watching a great series on Netflix last night, “Boots” about a gay guy joining the USMC. Really recommend it as the lead character is Miles Heizer who plays so well in “13 Reasons Why”!
We are blessed as last night the temperature dropped and today it is only 22°C (70°F)!
Just 15 km further west from home in Oakhill, some guy measured the temperature at his back door under the tin veranda at 65°C!!!!!! Hotter than Hades!
Many thanks for suggesting Heated Rivalry! Have just seen the third episode and can not wait for more! Actually had to discover that my HBO had a HBO Max which was included and offers so much I never knew I could access!
Fully engaged into to 3 episode storylines and frustrated that same gender relationships, though legal and so common in everyday life, still have to be feared in sports. It is as though “straight” sportsmen and their supporters are personally frightened at their own sexuality in secret and so react so badly. Such hypocrisy in our society.
Hi both, how are you all doing? When do the kids break up for Christmas - I'm sure they are very excited. I finally have all my Christmas presents, I was able to shop whilst sick- where would we be without Amazon! It has made life easier this year. Tree going up tomorrow and cards to write. Thomas I'm excited to see the house project through with you and PJ. Also you may have seen messages from me regarding the sweatshirts, no delivery in the UK, I'll have to get one sent to my friend in California and collect when I visit next year. Anyway I've rambled on for a bit and need to go to bed. Enjoy your holiday together, sending love and hugs xxc
Hi friend! The kids finish up in about two weeks and they’re buzzing about it already. I’m impressed you wrapped up Christmas shopping while sick!! Amazon really does come through in a pinch. The tree going up always feels like the real start of the season. And yes, I saw your note about the sweatshirts. I’m so sorry about the UK shipping issue, but sending to your friend in California should work smoothly. Sending love right back. xoxo
Thomas and PJ, hope y’all have a fun weekend with all of T’s family.
Things are fun and cold here in Mystic, CT where I am for a long weekend. ❤️🤗
a long weekend in CT sounds like the coziest time ever. I hope you enjoyed!
We’ve had a great time. Early flight from Providence,RI in the morning. ❤️🤗
Ted! I grew up seeing my grandmother in Mystic! What a special place! Did you get snow? Hope you have a great weekend!
No snow today. We leave early Monday. So we’ll see what happens.

Kathleen, that sounds like the coziest kind of chaos. Hope your weekend has been slow and warm. We are catching up on HR tonight!

Love is love ❤️
I’m so glad you’re enjoying Heated Rivalry!! And you're right, there is still so much hypocrisy in our culture and it's awful. Hugs!
Congrats on the new house!!!!
Thank you Kelly!!!

749839 While having a great time in the mountain cabin, you didn't mention your three kids! Where were they? Glad you enjoyed your family getaway!
They came with us! Thank you Paul!!
They started by saying the 5 of them were joined by Thomas’ siblings & spouses and their mom. The kids were with them. 🫶🏼
